How we trade
The process from first inquiry to shipment, and answers to common questions about terms and documents.
The process
- 01
Tell us what you need
Send the commodity, volume, destination and Incoterm. A named contact from our team replies within 24 hours on business days and stays your contact through the shipment.
- 02
Specification and samples
We confirm availability and send the specification. You can request samples. We may also arrange a call or visit your office or factory to check we are the right fit.
- 03
Quotation
We quote FOB by default, at the port of loading in Nigeria or where our processed stock is held. If you need CIF or CFR, say so in your inquiry and we will quote that.
- 04
Contract
Price, quantity, quality parameters, payment terms and delivery window go into a written contract. Anything that differs from what we quoted is agreed before you sign.
- 05
Inspection and documents
An independent inspector (SGS or Intertek) inspects the cargo before loading. We arrange the NAQS phytosanitary certificate and the export documents under our NEPC registration.
- 06
Shipment and follow-up
We ship from Nigeria or from where our processed stock is held, depending on the product. Our Lagos and Amsterdam teams send the documents and updates, then follow up after delivery.
